One place for
an entire world.
Realmly is a worldbuilding studio for writers, game masters and other creators. Build the places, people and histories of your setting, then connect them as you write.
Fantasy maps & 3D atlases
Begin with a generated landscape or a blank canvas. Shape land and oceans, draw rivers and roads, place settlements, and give political realms their territory. The 3D atlas shows the same landscape from a new perspective.
A place on the map can link to a wiki entry. Give that city a history, connect it to a government, and refer to it in a timeline without maintaining a separate encyclopedia.

A city, down to its streets
Generate a harbor, river crossing or inland settlement, or draw your own districts, roads and buildings. Choose fantasy and sci-fi architectural styles, change the density and terrain, and inspect your city in 2D or 3D.
Cities connected to a fantasy map can start with settings drawn from their geography. Custom cities preserve the building footprints, heights and colors you choose.

Characters & their connections
Create character portraits, upload your own artwork and collect biographies in the wiki. Link people to families, places, factions and events. Use the family tree and connection graph to follow those relationships.
The example world includes ten families across Veyrath. Open a person to follow their story and see how a character entry connects to the wider setting.

History, magic & connected lore
Build timelines with dated events and map locations. Define magic systems in the Codex of Power, comparing their discipline and reach, and link spells to the traditions that make them possible.
Realmly’s example world, Veyrath, includes competing magic traditions, governments, creatures and linked stories. Explore it without creating an account.

Galaxies & planetary systems
Build a sci-fi setting around galaxies, star systems, planets, moons and stations. Give political powers whole-system control or explicit local exceptions, including contested and divided ownership.
Explore system and planet views, name existing moons, and connect locations to lore. Surface maps are available for supported solid planet types; gas giants are viewed from orbit.

Write alongside your world
Keep your manuscript beside references from your world: maps, entries, relationships, timelines and family trees. Choose writing fonts and arrange reference panels around the work in progress.
Import supported maps, artwork and manuscript files, review imported content, and keep portable backups. Imports vary by format; existing provider-specific features do not always translate automatically.
