She speaks carefully because her apology to the affected habitat was recorded and is still played at each new archivist’s induction.
Her call to isolate Glasswake is motivated by a concrete failure mode: systems repeating a trusted message until no one remembers its source. She supports publishing the records in a format that cannot update itself. Mara considers the restriction excessive, yet both want residents to be able to inspect the evidence.
