The Run occupies the open western and southwestern waters. Its surface current brings milder air to Gaurheim while winter storms batter the exposed routes to the southern peninsula. A sheltered recess beneath the southern farm country, used by smugglers and rescue crews alike.
A shallow southern sound where pilotage is a public trust contested by hereditary families.
