Tovel makes rescue craft light enough for two exhausted people to drag above surge.
The person
Tovel makes rescue craft light enough for two exhausted people to drag above surge. He married Jalen after they rebuilt the same wreck independently and had to agree which half to keep. He wants standard fittings shared across every realm so a political boundary cannot make a spare part unusable.
Place in the family
Married to Jalen Oss. Their children are Nima Oss, Eren Oss and Tali Oss.
Tali learns warning calls by making older pilots explain their gestures.
Eren captained the rescue that recovered two crews with the same departure story.
Nima argues that being rescued should not bind a person to lifelong gratitude.
House Oss is an extended ferry family whose rescue sheds span rival jurisdictions.
Jalen coordinates boats without claiming command over their owners.
